We constantly look at areas in which our customers struggle to hire a vehicle and where possible implement changes to meet demand and expand our services to as many people as possible. Although it doesn’t happen very often we do not enjoy turning away business and the opportunity to help our customers, in any way we can. Booking car hire with a debit card was one of the main issues raised.
With this in mind we have now expanded our offering, and are now able to accept bookings for car hire with a debit card in some major European cities.
We were constantly being asked “Can we hire a car with a debit card?” Whether this is in the UK or in many of the locations around the world. Don’t get me wrong the problem still remains in some countries where they will simply not allow a car rental to take place unless the driver can produce a major credit card, however we’ve made a start with what we feel can help our customers.
- The words DEBIT must be written on the card
- The numbers must be embossed (raised)
- You must be able to enter a valid PIN (Personal Identification Number)
