At Terminal 1, the car rental desks can be found in the arrivals area on the ground floor in between bus stop number 5 and the walkway to Terminal 3. The on airport companies for this terminal include Avis, Budget, National, Alamo, Enterprise and Hertz. Off airport are Dollar Thrifty and Sixt.
Car Rental Heathrow Airport Terminal 3
The rental desks at Terminal 3 are located close to the main entrance, near the Coach, Taxi and smoking area. All of the major suppliers have desks here but again, Dollar and Sixt require a shuttle service to an off airport collection point.
Car Rental Heathrow Airport Terminal 4
In Terminal 4 all of the car hire companies are located a short distance to your right as you exit the baggage hall. The on terminal collection points are located just to the right outside the main entrance or if you are using one of the off terminal suppliers you will be taken by shuttle to the branch.

As the newest building at Heathrow, Terminal 5 has the most advanced facilities for collecting a hire car. There is an unmanned space age like console display information for all the car hire companies and a phone to put you straight through to your preferred supplier to either make a reservation or get instructions for collecting your rental vehicle.
The car hire centre is located in front of the luggage collection area, close to the main exit. The rental depots on terminal are located on Walrus Road, on the far left opposite the terminal.

The Heathrow Express provides a fast service from central London with a journey time of 15 minutes. You can also travel using the underground service using the Piccadilly line to each of the airport terminals.

Heathrow Airport’s central bus station is situated between Terminals 1 and 3 and is open 24 hours a day. Local bus services operate between Heathrow Airport and a wide range of destinations.
